As you may know by now, I am Lora.
What would you like to know? Seeing as you cannot respond, I’ll take a stab at it for you:
—That’s me, a 28-year-old Emerson College graduate. Navigating through my master’s and bachelor’s degrees taught me to use visual storytelling as an empathetic tool. Visual stories—whether in the shape of a movie, television show, educational video, or advertisement—are most powerful when they have something to say about how a person, or group of people, thinks, looks, or feels. The magic, then, occurs not only when the audience hears what they have to say, but at the moment in which the audience begins to see that story within themselves.
I would like nothing more than to take part in a story that can reach inside a person, into the depths of their sense of self, and flick a light on.
